I was satisfied with the end of the book however I could have gone without the death of Simon and piggy. I suppose Ralph cried at the end because he was in the presence of an adult and realized he can revert to being a child and not a "leader". I think I despise Rodger the most simply because he became the most savage. I would recommend this book to a friend because I believe it gives an interesting and true insight on human nature.
